Major Equipment. Minor Commitment.
Offer body composition, VO2 Max, and RMR testing at your facility without committing to expensive equipment or taking up permanent floor space. Serving Vista, CA and surrounding areas.
Many independent studios and gyms would benefit from having access to high-end metrics equipment. That doesn't mean they need to own them.
Lungs & Limbs exists for gyms and studios that want to offer these services without dedicating capital, permanent floor space, and attention to them year-round.
Give your members access to high-quality information at meaningful points throughout the year. A biannual cadence cuts through the noise of daily data obsession and shifts the focus to meaningful, macro-level progress.
Having the gear on the floor for one month, twice a year, creates a natural buzz, gives members a hard deadline to work toward, and provides a six-month accountability loop.
How It Works
Choose Your Months
We drop off the equipment for a full month, twice a year. A one-month stay gives your community plenty of time to get tested without clogging up your daily schedule, and the biannual cadence gives your members a solid six months of focused, unmeasured training before the equipment returns to track their progress.
We Deliver
We deliver and set up the equipment in your designated location. We provide familiarization training and leave behind additional training materials for your staff. When your month is over, we inspect the equipment, collect feedback, and remove it.
Run Assessments
You book and run the assessments for your members and you decide how much to charge them - or offer it as a member perk. We are available for questions and will check in periodically during your month to ensure all is going well.
The Equipment
VO2 Master: A portable, mask-based metabolic analyzer from VO2 Master Health Sensors. This professional-grade system includes the wearable analyzer unit, three sizes of testing masks, and a rugged hardshell transit case for field and clinic use. It can be used for VO₂ Max assessments and Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) evaluations. Its lightweight, portable design allows testing to be performed in real-world environments—including gyms, tracks, trails, and training facilities—making it a valuable tool for athletes, coaches, clinicians, and health professionals seeking accurate metabolic data outside of a traditional laboratory setting.
InBody 970S: The InBody 970S evaluates overall health and wellness by measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, total body water, and more. Rather than focusing only on weight, it provides a detailed picture of how the body is changing over time. We love the Segmental Lean Analysis, which breaks down lean muscle mass in each arm, leg, and the trunk. This helps identify muscle imbalances, monitor recovery from injury, assess training effectiveness, and ensure muscle is being gained or maintained proportionally throughout the body.
